Reminisce

During our current times, I reminisce about in-person classrooms, lunches with friends, dinner parties, concerts, meetings with students, exploring campus full of students, hugging our grandparents, meeting our colleagues in-person at annual conferences, weddings, graduations, memorials. Missing these things make me look forward to them even more. Cheers to all the memories we hold of each other and the hope to one day make some more in 3D space! Miss you, my friends!

Solo - original piano and art

A tribute to all those in research driven by curiosity, in the arts driven by the human experience, in service willing to help. Each solo journey is made possible with help from others. Each of these journeys interweave to create our rich tapestry. "Solo" is made possible by a painting I drew in 2014 with a song I wrote in 2011 and a vision which came to me today to join them together with a narrative.

Did You Ever Imagine: Tribute Song to Parents and Teachers

This original song was inspired when my daughter finished senior kindergarten (SK). I wrote this song as a momento for my daughter, her classmates, parents and of course, her teacher, Mrs. Kennedy, who helped make that huge transition to school with such kindness, compassion and fun! The children performed this song during the late Spring of their SK year. All of these children are in high school now and pursuing their own dreams. Did you ever imagine?
